What ages do you care for?

We care for children ages 6 months to 10 years old. Activities are tailored by age to ensure safety, comfort, and engagement throughout the event.

How far in advance should I book?

Most families book 2–4 weeks in advance, particularly during peak wedding and event seasons.

If your event is approaching, reach out — availability permitting, we may be able to accommodate.

Are your nannies background checked?

Yes. All caregivers are fully vetted, including background checks, reference reviews, and verified childcare experience. Our team is selected specifically for on-site event care.

What’s included in each package?

Each package includes:

How many children can you care for?

Staffing is based on safe caregiver-to-child ratios, factoring in ages and activity needs. Capacity is confirmed during booking.

Are snacks or meals provided?

Caregivers can assist with snacks provided by parents or the venue. Meal preparation is not included unless arranged in advance.

Can you accommodate children with special needs?

We can support children with mild to moderate special needs. Please share details during booking so we can confirm appropriate staffing.

Where does the childcare take place?

Childcare is set up in a designated room or quiet area at your venue, coordinated with planners and venue staff.

Are you insured?

Yes. Kids in Tow carries event-appropriate liability insurance.

What if my child needs their parent during the event?

Parents are welcome to check in at any time. If a child needs their parent, we notify you promptly and support a smooth transition.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event receive a full refund.

Cancellations within 14 days may be subject to partial or no refund due to staffing commitments.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes. Destination and travel-based services are available on a limited basis. Travel fees and logistics are discussed individually.

Service Area

We provide dedicated on-site childcare for weddings and events throughout Philadelphia, the Main Line, and nearby suburbs. Most of our celebrations are within 25 miles of 19444, and we’re always glad to support venues farther out with simple travel accommodation

Booking Notice

We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance, especially for weekend events. Rush bookings may be available—contact us to check availability.

Response Time

We typically respond to all inquiries within 24 hours. For last-minute bookings, please call us directly.

Terms & Conditions

We understand that plans can shift, especially when families are involved. Our policy is designed to stay flexible while also respecting the time our caregivers reserve for your event.

Booking Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to secure your date. This deposit is non-refundable, as it guarantees your childcare team and blocks the date on our calendar.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel, the remaining balance is refunded as follows:
• 30+ days before the event: Full refund of the remaining balance.
• 15–29 days before: 50% refund of the remaining balance.
• Within 14 days: The remaining balance is non-refundable due to the difficulty of rebooking on short notice.

Rescheduling
We’re happy to offer one complimentary reschedule, as long as the new date is available.
Reschedule requests made within 14 days of the event follow the same terms as cancellations.
